Begin the Journey…..

What is Counselling?

Counselling is a unique opportunity for people to explore areas of concern within their life, family or relationships. Some of these concerns could include stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, addictions, abuse, bereavement, separation, conflict, relationships and many other issues affecting emotional and mental well-being.

Glenda Morrison uses a blend of psychology, faith-based spirituality and theology with proven methods such as cognitive work, education and self-discovery to assist people to resolve issues, re-build relationships and cope more readily with everyday tasks.

Communication

This can be of great significance, especially when some people are not able to express their concerns or feelings. Everyone needs to be heard and know that their opinion counts. We all need to feel valued and worthwhile.

Stress & Anxiety

Stress and anxiety have become major problems since COVID. Remember that there is a difference between feeling stressed every now and then and experiencing ongoing anxiety.

Focused Thoughts

Our thought life is a very important area of our lives as this will determine our futures. If we tend to focus on the negative aspect this could have a poor outcome, however if we can switch these to positive thoughts, life will have a very different outcome.

Taming Fussy Eaters

Meal time with children can be very challenging indeed. Children’s taste buds these days seem to be all over the place – what do you do? Lets have an appointment to discuss some options.

Technology Challenges

Do you have technology free time with family when you just talk? These days we seem to be so “techno” focused that interacting socially in person is rather difficult. What are your children up to? Do they have boundaries – there are ways around this very difficult area.

Learning Love Languages

The actual meaning of Love is commitment. It is not an airy-fairy feeling or a movie experience. You may have common interests, likes and dislikes, but what makes your partner truly feel loved?
